Whether you've been with me for a while and knew this space as DEVOTED by Tamara, or if you're joining us for the first time — welcome! Either way, I'm so glad you're here, because it marks the start of something I've been quietly building for months.
DEVOTED by Tamara has become DEVOTED TO FLOURISH.
Same heart. Same voice. Same commitment to sitting with you in the honest, tender, exhausting, beautiful work of following Jesus in real life. But it's grown into something with a clearer purpose — and I wanted you to hear the story behind it, straight from me, before anything else.
For years, I've been passionate about bridging the gap between artistry, wellness, and faith. DEVOTED by Tamara was the seed. This is the bloom. I also wanted to build something bigger than me to serve you in a greater capacity because I saw a need. So many of us are doing everything right. We're showing up for our families, our jobs, our ministries, our people. And underneath all that faithfulness, we're running on empty. Spiritually disconnected. Mentally maxed out. Physically depleted. Still showing up — just not really flourishing.
I knew DEVOTED by Tamara wasn't fully naming what I was actually here to do. I don't want to only journal out loud for you. I want to build tools to help you come back to yourself and come back to God — not through more hustle, but through rootedness.
So DEVOTED TO FLOURISH was born, with a simple promise underneath it:
Rooted in faith. Intentional in design. Transformative by nature.
Everything created from the well of DEVOTED TO FLOURISH — starting with a guided journal I've been pouring myself into for months — will be for the burned-out Christian woman who's ready to grow again, not from a place of striving, but from a place of rest.
What's actually changing (and what isn't)
- The name, the look, and the home base are new — you'll see a refreshed website that is vibrant yet grounded, inviting you to find a home with us.
- What isn't changing: the honesty, the scripture, the "let's sit in this together" tone you've always gotten from me.
- This newsletter is getting a new name too — you're reading the very first issue of THE POUR, your weekly pour of scripture, encouragement, and connection.
- And soon, I'll be sharing the first look at the journal I've been creating — something designed to help you take an honest inventory of your mind, body, and spirit, one day at a time.
Building this has stretched me. There have been late nights rewriting copy, many moments of doubt about whether any of this matters, and a whole lot of praying over decisions that felt too small to pray about and too big to make alone. If you've ever built something — a business, a home, a habit, a faith practice — from nothing but conviction and a little bit of courage, you know exactly what I mean.
I'm telling you this because DEVOTED TO FLOURISH isn't a polished brand pretending to have it all figured out, and the recovering perfectionist in me cringes to say that! lol. But that's the truth. I'm still very much in the middle of my own becoming, inviting you to grow alongside me.
So — whether you've been reading since the DEVOTED days or you just found me — thank you for being here, and I officially welcome you to The Flourish Family. I hope you stay around. I have a feeling this next season is going to be good.
Flourishing with you, Tamara

P.S. Hit reply and tell me one word for where you're at right now — tired, hopeful, stretched, curious, all of it. I read every single one.
